Il restauro è l’attività che permette di preservare la parola scritta, di qualsiasi genere; il documento scritto è tanto fondamentale che deve essere preservato, quale prova della storia, di ciò che è accaduto e di ciò che è stato scritto.
Francesca mi dice che salvare un documento è eticamente più importante dello svolgere un lavoro e basta. Il restauro dona un nuovo respiro di dignità alle opere.
Con i libri riscopriamo un po’ di noi stessi, ritroviamo la nostra anima nella loro anima. Danziamo nella storia, nelle emozioni, viviamo un tempo migliore e immaginiamo vite; diamo vita ai sogni e ai desideri.
